brand new pattern!

I found an isopod with a completely new pattern today. It's definitely an a. vulgare, but I've never seen anything like it. I'm keeping it with a few others for closer observation. I don't have much to say other than that I'm really excited and honored to get to observe and host this creature. I hope more time and research will help me find out if this is a completely novel individual, an actual morph or family trait, or something else.
